I Hate my MCO body!

Yikes! When the world didn’t foresee the effects of COVID19 four months ago, I didn’t foresee the weight gain four months later. 

At the beginning of the Movement Control Order (MCO), literally everybody I knew was high on exercising at home. I mean, most of my girlfriends (and some guys friends too) loved Zumba, so they enjoyed locking themselves in their bedroom and watching Zumba videos on Youtube. 

As for me, the one who has always relied heavily on an actual gym, I was left with few to zero options. I mean, I’ve always known that I was born with two left feet so anything that requires graceful movements is definitely down in the drain. I could do some sit ups, yes. Some basic stretching, yes. 

And that was pretty much it… for a day or two… 

Take a gym selfie every time! It shows progress and motivates you to do better.

Fast-forward to the present, I’m trying my best to go to the gym as often as I can. Given the current situation that all gym-goers are expected to make early booking for classes or floor access, I try to book the 90-minute session almost every day. 

Yes, 90 minutes is all I have, max. So what can I do in 90 minutes?

Well, I usually spend the first 30 minutes taking selfies, haha! Kidding, I’d go on the treadmill for about an hour, just to warm up and complete my cardio before moving on to the machines for some weight training. 

I’m bringing sexy back soon! Well, my sexy back.. LOL!

Then, I’ll do my situps and squats. Yes, the tummy and thighs have proven to be my most difficult challenge. 

So, I’m not gonna spend too much time writing when I can go running. Hope to share some progress photos soon!
